Sun Dreaming - Wanakka Ritjinguthinha
My name is Chern’ee Sutton and I am a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people from Mount Isa in Queensland.
This painting is called “Wanakka Ritjinguthinha” which means “Sun Dreaming” in the Kalkadoon language.
This painting is my interpretation of the suns far reaching rays that gives life to all living creatures, great and small.
