Green Tree Snake - Thug Wuyu
My name is Chern’ee Sutton and I am a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people from the Mount Isa area in Queensland. This painting is called “Thug Wuyu” which means in the Kalkadoon language “Green tree Snake” and this painting tells the story of why the green tree snake now lives in the tree's.
