My name is Brooke Sutton and I am a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people from the Mount Isa area in Queensland.
This painting is called “Milthiaun” which is one of the words that means “Owl” in the Kalkadoon language.
Milthiaun flies high above the night sky keeping a watchful eye out for her next meal.
