Corroboree – Warma
My name is Jesse Sutton and I am a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people from Mount Isa in Queensland.
This painting is called “Warma” which means “Corroboree” in the Kalkadoon language.
This painting is my interpretation of the many traditional Aboriginal dance ceremonies that take place on the corroboree grounds.
