Chern'ee Designs a Coin for King Charles III Coronation

Chern'ee was recently commissioned by Queensland Government House to create an Indigenous digital design depicting the Cook Town Orchid. The design was used on a limited edition coin to celebrate King Charles III Coronation on 6th May 2023.

The Cook Town Orchid is a favorite flower of Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM Governor of Queensland. Only 5000 coins were made and presented to dignitaries at Qld Government House during the Kings Coronation.
