Chern'ee Designs the Aboriginal Artwork and Story for Borobi The Commonwealth Games Mascot
I attended the official launch of Borobi the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Mascot. My artwork and story have been used for the Indigenous markings on Borobi, his surfboard, name and advertising signage in the lead up to the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He will play a major part during the Commonwealth Games and as he walks around the Gold Coast he leaves my story of the Commonwealth Games behind him in the sand.
