Chern'ee Funds Reconciliation Art Competition in Mount Isa

Mount Isa "Ajarku Muruu" All One Country Primary School Art Competition which I organised, funded and held with 7 Primary Schools from the Mount Isa region. Uncle Clive Sam played the Didgeridoo and gave Welcome to Country, the Honourable Bob Katter Federal member for Kennedy officially opened the awards night and Rob katter MP Member for Mount Isa closed the event. I was the MC for the night with Brenda Tierney Tennis Australia's Social Inclusion Manager helping to hand out the prizes on the night. There were 126 winning children with 9 major awards and every school winning a Tennis Australia Hot Shots mini tennis court. The first place for the best artwork submitted was won by Central State School who also won a large installation art piece and the student won a trophy, Tiger Island showbag, some of my souvenirs and a signed and framed 2014 State of Origin Football Jersey.
